I am playing with blogs for the first time. I have activated my google account. Will you or someeone else help me next week? I may or may not be currently lost in cyber space.

I am looking forward to the academy. I recently attended the TLI follow-up session in Morgantown and created 2 Webtop google sites for the 2007 & 2008 TLI Teams for Raleigh County. I love the idea of this blog along with the google site. My students created a blog to show the activities we did in our classroom.

I am so glad to see people experimenting with the wiki and the blog. Yes, Ron, we will be there to help you. It sounds like Gina can help too!

I am looking forward to learning new things at the academy next week. I just hope I'm not too much of a "dinosaur" to catch on to the new technology and ideas that go with it.

We are ALL going to be learning this week and helping each other! We are so glad that today has arrived and that we will see you soon. Don't forget to complete your Teacher Orientation Survey before dinner tonight!

I have enjoyed this week!! This training has been very informative; however, there has not been enough technology training (at least for me). Although, I have been given the information, and I now need to take it upon myself to learn how to use these tools for successful classroom implementation. I would like more intensive tech training. Do you think we can keep the Academy together and continue training next year...maybe with an emphasis on technology? Dawn

I really enjoyed the academy and felt like I learned valuable information to use this upcoming year. I have been playing around with creating sites for our department and some different types of blogs.

I wanted to thank all those in charge of presenting the SETLA Conference. I appreciated the professionalism and the up-to-date topics/technology. There is so much information to absorb, and I am excited about sharing what I learned at the conference to colleagues and students.
